He is an adorable man and well done on the garden. Happy 96th! I remember, my grandpa’s friends called him to an event venue Atlanta lying of an emergency and gave him a surprise birthday party. Too struck by all that lushness, the sublime color scheme of all those cool blues and greens, and gray, then the occasional burst of color with your hydrangias , roses and what looks like geranium? Its really a work of art.
xx
julieJulie Whitmore Potteryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12283540996942265818noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8734264482582229087.post-50452494262575064542011-06-15T00:41:44.637+01:002011-06-15T00:41:44.637+01:00I, too, wish I could visit your garden come Sunday...I, too, wish I could visit your garden come Sunday! We have been very dry here, with no rain for 3 weeks, and my husband is watering our vegetables every morning. Even the late-blooming azaleas "think" it has been too hot and dry! I wish I could be there on Sunday visiting your and your beautiful garden :) Everyone will have a fantastic time looking at all of your pretties and smelling all of the blooms.
The weather on Sunday was hideous wasn't it?! Most of our veggies were injured by the winds and most of my rosebuds are now little stumps without a petal in sight :( I am going to plant lots of new seeds this week to replace all that I have lost, fingers crossed the bad winds and rains will lay off for a while.
Love Morwenna
xoxoMorwenna Hillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04147188118923174093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8734264482582229087.post-25405178992175380102011-06-14T09:36:33.633+01:002011-06-14T09:36:33.633+01:00Oh I wish we could come visit too as your garden l...Oh I wish we could come visit too as your garden looks glorious :) Ours is a work in progress and I hope one day it will bloom as beautifully as yours xxAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8734264482582229087.post-84686879844942519912011-06-14T03:56:47.682+01:002011-06-14T03:56:47.682+01:00So glad I stumbled upon your blog!
