Dog Days

Forgive me for yet another post about the dogs, but thy are such a part of my everyday life that I have to include them! As you can see, China has made herself quite at home....! I've put her bed by the heat as she's a big dog & feels the cold. She has no inhibitions when it comes to stretching out and being comfortable, I'm pleased to say!
and this is a typical view from my evening vantage point..
After supper, China loves to lie down & have a good chew. And in true 'dog in the manger' style, whatever delicacy I have given Alice for her treat the grass is always greener on China's side of the fence!! Luckily, they're both good natured and nothing goes further than a bit of yearning on Alice's part....like any only child, she has to learn to share!
And when she gets tired of that....tired of everything, she loves to doze sitting upright, which always makes us laugh. then she is in position to move quickly if anything really interesting happens. Bless her.
I'll leave you for today with a picture I took an hour ago. The snowdrops are almost fully out in the churchyard that is our front garden. Spring is around the corner for sure!

Happy February everybody xox

And I can't believe my eyes! Snowdrops! We are buried in snow here, I think we'll have to wait til mid-March for snowdrops. So I must live vicariously through you. :)

I love your photos of China and Alice having a lazy day:). There can never be enough dog talk; they're called 'man's best friend' for a reason:). I hope you, China and Alice have a lovely weekend!

  8. Darling dogs, I can smell their biscuit feet from here! Lovely snowdrops, we don't get them at all here, it reminds me so much of England. I love your new look website, you're a bit like Madonna, always changing which is wonderful, although don't swap Paul for a bloke named Jesus!
    Love love love xxxxxxxxxxxx
